Feb 2023 Haul: Comic Edition

With the popularity of Manhwa’s increasing in the west such as digital, localised series available on: Webtoon, Manta and Tapas etc. A few Romance manhwas have now started being published in English, printed paper edition! I bought my first physical copy of a manhwa (My Gently Raised Beast Volume 1) within my February Comic Haul ^^

Published by Ize Press and localised by Yen Press (13 Dec 2022) I was excited to get my first physical edition manhwa to see the colourful artwork in printed, book form. Can’t wait to read My Gently Raised Beast!

Otome Mania!! Vol.1 & Vol.2

A manga about otome caught my eye, so of course I had to get this ^^ Completed manga with two volumes. The main character has a goal of making her own otome game. I like the colourful, chibi-style art at the back with all the character and their little dialogue. Otome Mania!! was published in 2017, it was hard to find a recent new copy but good quality used copies are available on Amazon. The digital version is also available on Kindle.

Mama Akuma Vol.2

Last but not least, I bought Mama Akuma Vol.2 from a bookshop. While waiting for my train, I was browsing around the bookshop and found this gem. I read the first volume on the kindle edition (you can check out my review) and I was excited to buy the physical copy. The character design is lovely and the story is just cuteness overload ^^ I would definitely recommend Mama Akuma!
