First Time at Megacon Live London Event Review

First impression review of my experience at Megcon Live London. I have been to MCM Comic Con before and was excited to find Love and Deepspace merch, interact with stall owners and encounter amazing cosplayers at Megacon Live London! It was a fun experience.

Megacon Live London is a haven for fans of anime, games, manga, and pop culture. From rare collectibles to unique fan art, there’s something for everyone. And the cosplayers—wow! The creativity and effort that go into these costumes are just incredible. Whether you’re a casual fan or a hardcore enthusiast, it’s easy to feel right at home.

I bought an early ticket and made a bee line towards the Sweet Sweet Manga stall for the Love and Deepspace merch^^ Everyone there was so welcoming and friendly. Here are a few of the stalls I visited during the event:

Sweet Sweet Manga

One of the highlights for me was visiting the Sweet Sweet Manga stall to snag some Love and Deepspace goodies. There were so many adorable items, and the plushies stole the show! Sylus, in his cute crow outfit, was especially popular—his plushie sold out within two hours of the con starting! There was even a massive Sylus stand, which was absolutely awesome and perfect for photo ops.

The stall was well-organized and accepted cash, card, and AMEX, which made shopping super convenient. They also offered paper bags for your purchases, but with the amount of stuff I bought throughout the day, I’d definitely recommend bringing your own tote bag or backpack for storing all your goodies.

Aside from Love and Deepspace merch, the stall also featured a lot of Danmei merchandise, as well as some items from Link Click, Tears of Themis, and more. Another standout at Megacon Live London was Katie, a talented illustrator with the most adorable chibi-style art merchandise. Her work was so eye-catching! I couldn’t resist buying the holographic Sylus sticker—it’s absolutely stunning and shines beautifully in the light.

Her stall featured a variety of fan-favorite content, including Demon Slayer, Genshin Impact, Jujutsu Kaisen, Love and Deepspace, and so much more. There was truly something for everyone, and her art had such a unique and charming style.

We also had a fun conversation about Caleb’s recent story release. The intensity and tension in his story were such a hot topic—it’s just so gripping! It was fun chatting about LnD.

Angry Egg Merch

I was intrigued by the Hoyoverse and Bungou Stray Dogs merchandise at this stall. the keychains were very cute and colourful too.

The Honkai Star Rail merchandise was especially eye-catching, with its vibrant designs and the stunning variety of characters. It’s hard not to admire the detail and charm of this fandom’s merch.

Angry Egg Merch is a UK-based seller that specializes in providing official merchandise imported from Japan, along with fun fanmade goodies too. Their selection is perfect for collectors or fans looking for authentic, high-quality items.

Fanatic PufferFish

Illustration Artist, Fanatic PufferFish had some cute chibi Love and Deepspace stickers and shiny badges. I bought Rafayel and Sylus stickers which I plan to use on my notebook 🙂

Syenne Art

Syenne’s Love Nikki illustrations are absolutely stunning! The level of detail in her work is intricate and stunning, truly capturing the beauty and elegance of the game’s designs.

What impressed me even more was the quality of the prints. The paper had a great texture and a lovely sheen effect, making each piece feel luxurious and perfect for display. Syenne’s art is a must-see for any Love Nikki fan or anyone who appreciates beautifully crafted illustrations.

Conclusion

There were so many other fantastic stalls at Megacon Live London, and if I haven’t covered them here, I’ll be showcasing more on my TikTok account—so stay tuned! While Megacon is a lot smaller than London Comic Con, considering it’s held in the same location, it still had some incredible stalls and offered a fun experience. Meeting the lovely Love and Deepspace girlies at the meetups was definitely a highlight for me, and I had such a great time overall.

I ended the day by watching the Cosplay Masquerade contest, which was amazing! It was my first time attending a cosplay show, and the creativity on display was so entertaining. By the time we got to the venue, it was almost full, so I’d recommend grabbing a seat early if you plan to catch the show—it’s clearly a crowd favorite!

One thing to note is that unlike MCM Comic Con, there aren’t any dedicated food stalls inside the con itself. However, there are food shops available within the venue, and snacks like ice cream and donuts can be purchased from vendors in the convention area.

Overall, Megacon Live London was a fantastic experience! I loved making new friends, enjoying the meetups, and, of course, adding some amazing merch to my collection. I’d definitely recommend Megacon—it’s even suitable for families, with a dedicated kids’ section to keep younger fans entertained.
